Activity Descriptions
Sign Language & Music: Learn sign language in a group with new signs introduced each week. Musical theory, instrument identification, and rhythms using games and other musical exercises.
Artisan Workshop: Design and create arts and crafts for the All In Gallery and upcoming holiday markets. Share artistic talents through marketable wares and seasonal decorations.
Jump, Jive & Joy: Expression through movement. Learn how to listen to our bodies and follow directions in different dance and exercise routines. Practice discipline while also encouraging self-expression and spatial awareness. Activities include stretching, Jazzercise, Tai-Chi, Zumba, line dancing and deep breathing.
Theater Arts: Come along as we devise a new play for Fall term. Using improvisation and group discussions we will create an original script focusing on character development and story construction. Theater tech will also be included with set, prop, and costume creation.
Creative Movement: Communicate, express, entertain and engage through creative movement and motion. Increase spatial and physical awareness while being immersed in inspiring and energizing music.
Spontaneous Civilization Creation: Join us for a dramatic adventure as we create our own characters and world to explore problems, test ideas and find solutions together.
Self-Advocacy: Encouraging the use of self-expression and exploring choice within everyday life.
Arts and Community Building: Encouraging growth and self-esteem through arts and community.
Passion Projects: Self-directed creative endeavors based on an individual’s unique interests and developed over time.
Life Skills: Engagement with our community while exploring local businesses and interacting with people in public spaces. Learn to ride public transit, practice social etiquette and support independence.
